Been there done that. Worse issue is when the stair would not close. Fortunately the owner of the park was able to remove the cotter pin and the steps swung freely. On the way home, about 2,000 miles, I need to put the small step ladder out so the wife could exit and enter. Resolved by replacing the motor. Quite easy and I followed the steps of a middle aged woman who video taped the one she did herself. I mean heck, if a middle aged woman can do that.....I once pulled the rig into a campsite and my electric steps refused to function. We were in transit and had a schedule so we just got the step ladder out and climbed in and out.
