AutoPark

So a lot of complaints about the AutoPark system,  Has anyone attempted to do a conversion to a floor mounted parking brake? thats what I'm doing but would like any feedback, tips, etc  Thanks in advance Capt.

I'm assuming that your rig is without the foot operated parking brake? If you have the foot operated parts already it is a few easy steps to eliminate the Autopark portion. The info I have is on another computer that I can access tomorrow.

If you do this please post detailed photos, I am also considering this option, but don't have a parts list, etc.

you are correct corky, no foot pedal and I have a basic Idea on how to proceed but all info is welcome,  Thanks

I don't know how much help I can offer, but here are instructionl I used to eliminate Autopark from my '96 Bounder.
Understand that my old rig had the foot pedal assembly as stock from the factory. You may have to rely on your own resources to source a pedal assembly and mount it.

And here is some more info for the Autopark system.

Hope this helps - somewhat.
