Edit by staff: I shortened the title - here's the full title: Aux starter selonoid on 36' Journey 2005 the selonoid is making a thump noise and when is does that it brings the volt meter slighty to the negative.
------------------------------------------
Im not sure if the two are connected since this has happened the water heater will not work either LP or 120V any advice .

The auxiliary starter solenoid? Do you mean the "Battery Boost" switch (or similar labeling) on the dash? If this is what you mean, it bridges the chassis and house battery bank together for starting the engine assuming the chassis batteries are too discharged for engine starting.

Using the voltmeter in your OnePlace center, measure the house and battery bank voltage and let us know what the batteries read.

Does anything that runs off 12V in the Journey work?
