Got the windshield replaced, are back on the road and finally have satellite service.  We left Edmonton last Wednesday decided to not let the hawk and the shattered windshield deter us and headed for Jasper Nat'l park.  The weather cleared and it was great.  Snow on the mountain tops and the scenery was fabulous!!!  We drove from Jasper to BAnff on the icefield parkway and loved every minute of it...great views.  It was cold; but clear.  Glacier Natioanl Park Canada is breathtaking.

We are now just outside of VAncover and will be spending a few days here, then cross back into the States.  I must say we will not miss the high cost of services here in Canada ie gas and food.

Things seem almost free now in the lower 48.<G>

Marsha:

We need our old exchange rates, Canadian prices were easier to bear with a 35-40% discount. ;D
