if you have a payout like that, what does it do to your next premium?

A family member wrote off a car and the insurance paid out, they got another vehicle and at renewal time the premium increased substantially.

So, here is my final takeaway. RV totaled. Had very good insurance through Progressive. Paid off my old RV loan. Provided 20% more $$ for total replacement above what I actually paid for totaled unit. Ordered new class A, took a few months but we picked it up yesterday. Progressive provided $22,400.00 for down payment. My new ins.. premium $50.00 more annually for same coverage. Something finally went my way and I am very pleas with the way Progressive handled it. So…. Big shout out to the insurance company.
