Bad news from Yuma

To all who spend time in the Foothills of Yuma a bad thing has happened.

Mi Fahita has burned down!!!!!

The building is completely gutted and the whole roof is gone.

Ned, looks  like we need to find a new place for breakfast.

Yep, got an email from Norm yesterday morning with the news.  I opined that they needed the insurance money to build their new restaurant   Hopefully, it'll be done before we get back there.

Is that what all those sirens were last night?  Also there is a new pig farm coming, which will handle 52,000 pigs.

Nope Karl, The paper today said it was an electric outlet in the managers office that started it. The owner stated he will concentrate on rebuilding in the same location and back off on building the second place on 32nd st. & Araby. He said he hopes to be back in business by September.

Of course I was kidding about the wet paint, but I am surprised that he would rebuild first. Thanks for the update! Sure miss those $2.50 (plus tax) hashbrowns!

I suspect that when the Farmer John pig farm opens down there, missing the clean air will out weigh the chicken fried steak breakfast.
