Hi all!

Our RV has a "12volt Off" rocker switch near the door that I use to shut it down. There's also a stout looking switch next to our inverter shown below. Is this a battery disconnect switch? Should I turn this to "off" for storage? Thanks for any help! -Mark

For long term storage the answer is YES turn it off (And the others who said "It's a circuit breaker" are correct as well). In fact for Long term storage turn off everything AND lift the negative most cable(S) off the battery.. If more than one tie them together to insure you hook 'em all back up.

LOL! John wears suspenders in addition to his belt too! :giggle:
Yes. sometimes. Not so much today however (Lost some weight and the belt holds better)
But in the case of RV batteries.. Some thigns I'm told do NOT disconnect when you disconnect (Unless it's hard switch in the battery lead) so a manual disconnect (remove most negative cable) insures OFF.
