just cooked some ribs and had to tell you how they came out. This is the first time I have cooked ribs like this. I put rub on the slabs and then wrapped in aluminium, foil and put in refrigerator a couple hours. then preheat the oven at 350 and cooked for 2 hrs. put on BBQ sauce and put back in for 15 min, let stand for 5 min.and served. This by far was the best I ever cooked. The meat was very tender and very juicy. I have used rubs before but to cook the ribs in foil the first 2hrs They came out great. Just thought you might like to know how easy good ribs can be.

putting them in a smoker for about an hour before you wrap them to put in the oven will add a GREAT flavor also.

You can do an entire pork shoulder (for shredded BBQ) that same way.  Just set the oven for 210 degrees and leave for about five hours for a 13lb. shoulder.  The meat will fall off the bone.
