I was horrified to see how weakly the bedroom TV was attached by Winnebago in my coach. There were 6 screws into a weak piece of wood. No doubt that this design was to keep weigh in check, but it was far from enough.
Has anyone had experience in remounting a flat screen TV with a overhead attachment in their RV? The metal bracket for extending to the ceiling is strong enough, but I am thinking of replacing the wood with a piece of aluminum and using machine screws threaded into this plate. Any thoughts?
