Bigfoot 2500 10.6 Battery Compartment Size

I have a 2006 Bigfoot 2500 10.6 and I need to know the size of the battery compartment. (Camper is currently covered and access is impossible). I am wanting to go to Lithium and need to know the size so that I don't make an expensive mistake. Anyone willing to measure for me?

The new two 200 AH Lifepo4 batteries I changed to in this rig are around the same size as the two 120 AH stock lead acid batteries that I removed.

Almost double the capacity at near the same physical size.

LifePO4 batteries are often sold in form factors (physical package dimensions) that do not match BCI standard battery case sizes. You need physical measurements of your battery storage area and ten compare to the sizes & shapes of various lithium offerings.

If you know the size/type of battery(s) you now have, you might be able to find a Lithium that conforms to the same package size, e.g. BCI Group 24 or 27 or GC2. But you might be better off (cost, amp-hours, etc) if you chose some other for m factor.

You are much better off to wait until you can see the compartment. There may be some issue beyond simple dimensions that you need to see before trying to fit a battery into it.

The original battery is almost for certain a group 24 or 27, but simply put, don't do anything without seeing the battery box first.
