My trailer has a Furion A/V unit with a DVD player. It doesn?t have any hdmi inputs.
Most of the movies we own that we are likely to want to watch are Blue Ray. We could just plug it into another input on the TV but then we would not be using the built in trailer speakers (though maybe that doesn?t matter? No experience).
We have not seen any aftermarket replacements for the Furion with more inputs or features.

Any thoughts?

Rob,

What inputs does the AV unit have?
BlueRays come in lots of different ways, you may be able to find one that still has S-Vid or composite or even just a Video/R/L break out.
If you can't, then go to Ebay as search for an adapter that will take the HDMI and dice it up into the outputs that match what you have.
I had to do this to use my DVD recorder that I need to send some shows to family in Canada where they are not available.
