My friend is buying a 21? Starcraft and knows less about boating than I did about RVing when I bought my first motor home. Can someone recommend a good boating forum or two for the newbie boat owner?

Iboats forum( https://forums.iboats.com/ )  is a good one for the newbie, heavily moderated so the hazing is minimal.  "The Hull Truth" is also a good forum but sometimes the conversation gets a bit heated.

This was a timely thread for me. I needed some basic info about my new to me boat.  The iboat.com  forum looks like a good start.

Thanks, will give it a try.

In most places the Power Squdron offers free or very low cost classes in basic boating, and some dealers offer weekend classes for new boaters (even if you didn?t buy from them). See if any local boating clubs.  Learn the basic Rules of the Road.  Enjoy.
