British Columbia Towing Regulations

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an RV or an interest in RVing!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I forget which Provence has this law, but it applies to ALL vehicles towing a trailer. Their law goes by the GVWR/CCWR of the tow vehicle, as stated on the Federal information placard. If that is exceeded your are sidelined/parked and not allowed to move the trailer until a tow vehicle meeting the GVWR/GCWR is used.
What is legal in the U.S.A. is immaterial.

Steve CDN, thanks for linking to those laws. Having spent time in both countries; we U.S.A. citizens, seem to have a sense of entitlement about where we can go and what we can do, as compared with Canadian citizens. That's just my opinion.
