We had Directv or its predecessor/successor at the S&B home for a number of years. Initially, we watched it at 2 S&Bs, moving one or two receivers between the homes. The last 25 years or so, we've had it at our 'retirement' S&B, and at some point had the rvtraveler antenna on the coach. When we switched to a 5W 'permanently' at our WY lot a few years ago, I hooked the receiver to an unused fixed DTV antenna on a neighbor's lot. It all worked out fine until this year someone built a shed in the line of sight of the antenna. We were already streaming some stuff, and we merely switched to 100% streaming.
FWIW we were streaming on a DSL line at the WY lot, and this year we had fiber installed. Not sure I see any difference in streaming, but definitely no need for directv.
Meanwhile, we've switched to 100% streaming at the S&B (we've had cable here for a number of years), so we no longer use/need directv, and I pulled the plug.
