Today, I took a ride to GreenVille, CA on my 1971 BMW motorcycle. GreenVille is not so green these days. I used to stop for lunch there on many of my motorcycle rides. I cannot find even a trace of the restaurant, and I know where it was located. They need to change the name to BurntVille, nothing green there any more. Only workers there, all fire related stuff. Nothing open but a NEW attorney's office named "Dixie Fire Attorneys."

Here are some photos I took today of GeenVille, CA (the restaurant was just behind the Main Street sign, on the RIGHT side, across the street. No trace left.

The fire happened in July, right?
I feel bad for the residents and business owners. It's difficult to fathom the loss of property and livelihood but the nightmare of bureaucratic and insurance wrangling is just as hard to imagine.
