Everyone OK? Quite the blaze goin on. Our air qual in Eastern AZ is down, but not sure if it is the CA smoke or not.
Did you mean Payson, AZ? I like that little town. I stayed for a month there a few years ago at the Oxbow RV Park.Went through some fires in Paycon AZ on the way here.
Yes thanks. My brain these days. I did not see any evidence of a fire from the main road.Did you mean Payson, AZ? I like that little town. I stayed for a month there a few years ago at the Oxbow RV Park.
And the Ayothaya Thai Cafe is extremely good. Especially for being away from large cites.
I hate to think that area burnt down.

Did u like the oxbow? We are looking for another place next year at a lower elevation (I.e. warmer in Jan and Feb). Payson would be too cold during those months but I’ve heard really good things about it.Did you mean Payson, AZ? I like that little town. I like Oxbow a lot, but the RV sites are unpaved. They have propane there at the RV park, which can be handy when cold. I enjoyed the hiking in the hills right next to my RV. Lots of javelinas in that area, so watch your doggies (if you have any) there if are off leash in the hills. I was there in November. Weather in Payson is much like Reno--can be almost anything at any time. Elevation there is the same as my Reno house 5K'.Did u like the oxbow? He can hire jeremy clarkson to water them lolThis is floating around out there again. Apparently this is the last year of California fires.
That could have a big negative effect on the wildlife that requires dry summers-could be worse than the fires. Mother Nature knows how to deal with this stuff a lot better than man. This is floating around out there again. Apparently this is the last year of California fires.
Trump knows better. Just ask himThat could have a big negative effect on the wildlife that requires dry summers-could be worse than the fires. Mother Nature knows how to deal with this stuff a lot better than man.

Unfortunately, I think that's what's happening as we speak. Hopefully my fellow native Californians will take to heart what Mother Nature is trying to say. That could have a big negative effect on the wildlife that requires dry summers-could be worse than the fires. The Horton fire (7000 acres so far) is burning north and a little east of Payson. That is probably the source of the smoke you saw.Yes thanks. My brain these days. I did not see any evidence of a fire from the main road.
Mother Nature is getting help from Father Industrialization. Help is on the way though, at last years climate summit and after minutes of intense debate, the planets major industrial polluters agreed not to do twice as much as they've never done before.Unfortunately, I think that's what's happening as we speak. "Recently, unsubstantiated accounts of local and state authorities removing Hurricane Helene victims from “tiny homes” constructed by the Amish and other temporary structures have circulated on social media. OSFM has investigated these rumors – including by contacting the local inspections departments alleged to have forcibly vacated North Carolinians from these structures – and determined that they are entirely without merit."Take North Carolina, for example; many people are now without homes, and the Amish offered to help by building tiny homes as winter approached, but they were stopped from continuing their work.
I'm sorry, but that is not what I said. Apparently the code enforcers required that the Amish built tiny homes meet building codes designed to save lives. If the Amish were allowed to ignore building codes, why would other contractors not follow suit?I'm sorry, but that is not what I said. "NC stopped the building"
