Yeah, well, it kinda put the kibosh on my winter plans of hanging in the desert at Quartzsite, but it's better to have money coming in than going out, my old pappy used to say.
Well, the San Diego area is fantastic. Nice weather, multi cultural and great beaches. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay. We are hoping to get back that way next winter on the way to a Mexico.
 
Thanks, I'm familiar with the area. I was raised in California and lived not too far from San Diego(Hemet/San Jacinto)up until about 28 years ago, when we moved to Arkansas.
I'll be at 6000' in the mountains east of town, so I'll see some more snow this year, but hopefully not too much.
 
Should have left your rig in Vegas :p
Yeah, but it's a long walk to Seattle from there! Remember, we were thinking that by June 2021, everything would be back to normal and we could then tour Canada as we intended in 2020.:confused:
 
Now if they could just get that rain about 200 -300 kilometres inland. :).
