Campground ideas Del Mar/Oceanside/Coronado

(This is a duplicate of a post I made on iRV2 since I realize not all members visit both).

We really enjoyed the Malibu RV Park several years ago and this time we want to stay a little South, around Del Mar. Looking online I'm seeing Paradise by the Sea in Oceanside with pretty good reviews, we did stop in there to take a look and it was basically a large parking lot but seems to have the highest reviews. Then there is the Oceanside RV Resort which has substantial amount of bad reviews. Next is the Surf & Turf in Del Mar, not too highly rated, and there is the Silver Strand State Beach in Coronado which we also stopped in for a look and really liked it (yes self contained only but there is a dump station) but not too sure if we will be able to find available dates. Most important to us is reasonably close to the beach, least important is cost.

So we just booked Silver Strand for late July, it was the earliest we could get in for 4 consecutive days. We didn't get a beachfront site, those must get booked way early. We're 3 rows in.
