After visiting Quartzsite this Jan, we are planning on spending a couple weeks or so in the Phoenix, Mesa, Apache Junction area during February /  March....
I have lists of possible RV Resorts and RV campgrounds in the area ( Am in P/A, Good Sam, KOA so have dozens of listings )
But.... wondering if a few of you could offer the names of a few that you have been at and enjoyed the experience.
Interests are golf, RC Sail and RC Flying, embroidery hobby, moderate walks, making new friends and enjoying normal Traveling RV Folks activities.    Know that I've seen other similar requests and responses previously but apparently my searching skill for past threads on this is lacking.....
Thanks in advance

I spent February and March here at Leaf Verde in Buckeye (just west of Phoenix) and I was extremely impressed. Reasonable rates, first class staff, super clean campground. And Robin is hot!

Look at Pueblo El Mirage RV & Golf Resort in El Mirage and Val Vista Village in Mesa.We have stayed at both and like both. This Jan, Feb & Mar we are booked at El Mirage. This is our 3rd year there. Gold Canyon is nice, but too far out from the Phoenix area for us. More to do closer in towards Phoenix. Apache Junction has Lost Dutchman State Park. Very nice also.

Concur wholeheartedly with Seilerbird re: Leafverde in Buckeye. We stayed there for 6 weeks earlier this year and found the park and the people to be great.
The only knock for you may lie in the fact that its about 20 plus freeway miles away from your stated centres.[Phoenix,Mesa,Apache Jct]

We like Santa Fe RV Park in Apache Junction. Nice folks. Small park, but has a club house and pool. And it's a PA park.

We have had stayed twice at Valle del Oro in Mesa and liked it okay. It is a very large place, right where the Red Mountain/San Tan Freeway (I-202) meets the Superstition Freeway (US 60). Lots of convenient shopping within a couple miles; I think it is about 25 minutes to ASU in Tempe. I think they have shuttles to various places, including some golfing. (Not sure; not a golfer.)

We've also stayed at Canyon Vistas once, and it is okay, too, but lots farther out. Both are Cal-Am parks, so you'll get some nickel-dime action, such as $3 nonrefundable laundry cards.

Thank you all for your suggestions / comments...
We have plenty now to choose from.... understand we need to make reservations soon as several say they have only one or two spots left..
Thank you
