I just bought a 2005 Carriage Cameo F35LSQ & my kitchen slide will not come out, all of my others came out with no issues but when I push the button it doesn’t even make a noise or act like it’s trying to move. I’ve looked online nonstop for the last 3 days trying to find a fuse diagram or where the fuses are located and I keep coming up short. This is my first 5th wheel to own & I am trying to turn it into my full time living space so any help is greatly appreciated, thank you 🙏🏼!

If you know the make and model of the slide mechanism you might learn how to extend it manually - then you're back to living large. I know that doesn't help you regarding where your fuses are - but...

Meanwhile... with any RV, there are nooks and crannies where you MUST explore to learn where the connections/fuses/sub-panels and GFCI's are located. Many vendor didn't make very decent (shouldn't use that word) documentation so it's often explore and learn. You appliances, by make and model are the ones that likely have downloadable PDF manuals that you MUST get and read - did I say READ?

Post pics of what you find - there are so many helpful souls on this forum that want to help you get your space operational and/or get you on the road...

You may want to post your question here. There are ways to retract or extend manually most Carriage slides, and someone on that forum may be able to help, either with the slide operation or fusebox locating.
Good luck to you. We miss our Cameo.

It might not have a fuse. Might have a circuit breaker burried somewhere. (Thermal self resetting type).

I never found fuses for my slides.

Get out your millimeter and trace for power first. While it could be power it could also be several other issues. Have you taken any voltage readings at all? If there is voltage to the switch, lift the leads and check the switch with your ohm meter. It would be a good idea to locate the fuses in the RV as you probably will need to know that eventually but you probably won't find a fuse for the slides there.

The slide wall switch(es) undoubtedly activates a relay, usually embedded in a "black box" called a slide controller. It's the box that reverses the direction of movement as well as start/stop movement. You need to find that first. A thermal breaker or similar amperage overload device is often incorporated in that box. Might also be a breaker or fuse where where that box is wired to the RV's battery bank. As Kirk suggests, get out a multimeter and start checking to see if power reaches that box and also the wall switch. If yes, test again at the motor (or pump, if hydraulic). The answers to that will narrow down the problem area and speed up diagnosis.

Try to identify the type & brand of slide mechanism, e.g.Power Gear, Lippert, HWH,Schwintek, BAL (Accuslide), etc This article may help.

Slides have an interconnect switch which prevents the slide movement if bay doors open. Be sure all bay doors are closed and the interconnect switch has power.
