! have a 2015 Lance 1052 with a Carefree slide out awning. Does anyone know what this component does or how it should be adjusted? Right now it is loose and doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I don't have anything like that on my Carefree SOK-3 covers. Must be a different model.
Does yours look like the one in this manual? Looks like it could be the anti-billow device (roller tube lock) that gets pushed in when the awning rolls up against the sidewall.

Yep, that's it. I am assuming that this needs to be adjusted so that when the screw hits the strike plate, it pushes the device up against the roller?
