Careful Not So Carefree

We have a new Coachmen Crossfit of course on the Ford Chassis.  We have had awning problems since day 1.  Last issue is it only extended half way.  I have had it adjusted by the dealer a few times.  Originally it would extend until I got my hands around it and chocked it and banged it up.  I think it is defective, but my dealer is giving me the runaround.  Anyone else with similar problems?

Which model of Carefree awning does it have?

With my previous Carefree awning, many of the problems I had similar to yours were related to low voltage. When I ran a separate wire from the batteries to the awning it would deploy every time. And continual low voltage to the motor can cause an early demise. I have changed out awning motors a time or two, and they are not cheap.
