I have a 2006 Keystone Outback 5er with the Carrier Air V ac unit.
I removed the interior cover (to help guide the "fishing" of a wire for some Fantastic Fans)  and I noticed that the unit has a red light that constantly blinks...  on for 1 second, then off for a second, repeats forever.
Is this indicative of anything?

From the Carrier manual: "The blinking red light indicates that 12 VDC is installed and powered to the unit controls. If there is no light blinking, the unit controls will not operate the 115 VAC equipment."  JM2?...

Yup, there are two "Blinking light" situtations.

If the RED Led up inside the thing is blinking  This is normal,  As noted above, does NOT indicate a problem.

If the GREEN operational lights blink... Break out the checkbook.
