Cat 30 day Health Certificate for Alaska

Hi everyone, we are traveling, with our two cats,  from CA, through Idaho, Canada to Alaska. We know we need current rabies certificate, for Canada, but the Health Certificate needed to enter Alaska is required to be issued within the last 30 days. It's going to take us longer than 30 days, we are traveling with another couple, how do we handle that 30 day issue? We went ahead and got everything from our vet, extra pet meds, etc. That 30 day limit has me worried.
