Caulking vent protectors

They installed some air vent protectors on the roof of my motorhome but they didn't caulk around it. Were these correctly installed?

Likely yes.  So long as they put sealant on the bolts that hold them to the roof (Or screws)

They vents themselves are calked to the roof, the protectors have an air gap around the bottom to let any water that manates to slip in the vent slip right back out
