New to me Cedar Creek fifth wheel. I had a leak in my hydraulic jack and had it repaired. My hydraulic fluid is a bit low and I would like to top it off. Just wondering what I should be using. I have heard someone say something about Dextron transmission fluid, but not really sure what to use. Any advice?

Are we talking about the front landing gear, or some other jack? What is the brand name of the jack? We need to know what it is in order to verify the fluid spec.
That said, Dexron III (3) is a very common hydraulic specification for RV and vehicle hydraulics and Dexron 3 compatible fluids are still widely available even though GM no longer sanctions that level (they are up to Dexron 6 nowadays). Using Dexron III wouldn't be much risk.

It’s the rear (Lippert) landing jack curbside. I’m giving Cedar Creek a call. Thanks for your help.
