Cell signal booster for RV & Auto.

Looking for info from anyone who has set up a cell signal booster and has made it interchangeable between their vehicle and RV.
It is sometimes necessary while traveling to need a cell signal booster in the vehicle. Then once camp is set, a need for the booster to be in the RV. I would like to make one unit for both. Only having to disconnect the antenna from the amplifier and move the amp & inside booster from rig to rig as needed.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of setup?

That can be done with many units as long as you have a suitable antenna in both places. Or even with a portable antenna, though that is typically not as good a performer. Try the WeBoost brand for amplifiers and antennas to do what you want.

I have a similar weBoost to the one listed above (1 generation older Drive X RV) installed in our motorhome and have provisions to use it with magnetic mount antenna and "hershey bar" small interior antenna with 12V lighter socket adapter. I plan to use it next month when we go to Yellowstone in our TOAD car. I just have to unscrew the antennas and unplug the hardwire power adapter from the main unit and unclip it from its cradle to take it along in the TOAD.

p.s. note such boosters are only helpful in a narrow set of circumstances, think places where you can barely get a text message, but still have some signal to boost, or places where your cell phone call drops if you turn your head the wrong way.
