Hi all, I use one LiFePo 100Ahr battery and one SLA 85Ahr in my travel trailer. They’re isolated while charging from a 2100W generator (with their own battery chargers) and combined for my power needs. Briefly I plug shore power into the genny which charges the house SLA, a battery disconnect switch to isolate the LiFePo which is then charged with a 120V Genius10 Smart Charger.
Can I wire both batteries directly into a 200W solar array or does each battery require their own system?

There's a few ways to skin the cat when charging different chemistries from a single source. Wiring them "directly" will not be one of them. You need to switch back and forth, have separate controllers, an intermediate DC-DC somewhere. Some means of ensuring the batteries get the charge profile they need and stay isolated from each other.

Figured as much, I appreciate the quick reply here. I’ll look into solar for the house SLA battery only then, the LiFePo charges pretty quick with the Genius 10.
