Chevy Tahoe Towing - HELP

Im getting all sorts of information all over the board when i google this, so i registered here and am hoping to get some help. I have an 07 chevy tahoe 5.3 V8 4wd that we would be using to haul a TT. we found one we love, within price range (especially in the market now a days), but it would be pushing the capabilities of my tahoe. Im afraid a little too much.... The TT dry weight is 6,640 and loaded weight is around 9K. Iv seen wide ranges of what my tahoe can tow, as well as what people actually tow with it and have no problems. I think we will eventually.. and i mean no time real soon.. get a new rig to pull with, but i want to at least be able to use the TT now with the tahoe!

Few bits of info: the trailer is 32'....My husband is an experienced trailer hauler - including large truck. He says we would stay fairly local (no mountains) until we get a larger rid to tow with, and he says we would just watch our loaded weight....there would be a weight distribution hitch....we do have trailer brakes... i feel like its just too much for the tahoe....thoughts?

Not a smart move.
Way back when we had a 2002 Tahoe that we attempted to tow an Arcric Fox 19B. It was an OK experience on the flat lands, but once we started into the mountains it was right foot firmly pressed to the floor to maintain any sort of speed. And that trailer only weighed 7000 pounds fully loaded. Put the really short wheel base coupled to a really long TT is a recipe for disaster.
Now I know there have been vast improvements since 2002, but not enough to handle that trailer.
You will never tow a dry or empty trailer, nor is your Tahoe ready to go anywhere close to the published empty weigh. Which is where most tow ratings are based on.
You want the trailer, get a long wheel base 150/1500 pickup of your favorite brand. Want to keep the Tahoe, look for a TT in the 20 foot range. Its that simple.

First step is to consult the 2007 Chevy Towing Guide, which I have located for you. The first thing you will notice is that no 2007 Tahoe 4x4 exceeds 3720 lbs for the max loaded trailer weight. SHOWSTOPPER! That trailer isn't even close to acceptable.

I'll also opine that 32 ft is a lot of trailer for any SUV to tow on the highway. The tail is a lot bigger than the dog!

You need to stay around 21-23 feet trailer, max gross weight 6000# tops. That's coming from someone who previously owned a YukonXL, 5.3 with tow package.
