I have a 2021 Holiday Rambler Endeavor Diesel Motorhome 41 feet in length I am looking to install a WolfBox G900 TriPro DashCam I recently installed this same setup in my Toad (2025 Ford Maverick AWD Hybrid).

I have 3 cameras now in the RV rear camera which is basically looking at the Toad - one camera each on the side mirrors which are activated when I use the turn signals or if I choose to select them on one of my monitors

I like the WolfBox G900 TriPro because it comes with 3 cameras and replaces the Rearview mirror normally on a passenger vehicle I love the set up my intention is to mount the rearview mirror DashCam on the dash or windshield of my MotorCoach

The Rearview mirror has a forward facing camera - it also has a in-cabin camera and lastly it has a rear facing camera that I would mount on the back of the RV above the Toad so I can see what’s directly behind me and record any events.

My questions are:

1 - Anyone tackle this kind of project on a Motorhome?
2 - WolfBox offers wiring extension to get from the dash to the back but routing the cabling to get outside is a question?
3 - Any photos including the rear camera mount would be great?

I attached a few photos of the installation on my toad

Thanks
Dave O

First off. You are going to need much longer wires. Generally the wires will have to be routed down the A-Pillar and then through the firewall and into the engine or generator compartment and from there to wherever the cameras are mounted. Lots of zip ties, use the same routes as existing wires & cables if possible. Stay away from moving and hot parts. Label everything at both ends.

My rear view camera is mounter at the top of the rear cap. Better view of our towed and whatever is tailgating us at the moment. No side cameras and no real reason to want them.

Thank you for you input I did check I can purchase factory wiring extensions in both 33’ and 50’ lengths from WolfBox and plan to enclose that cabling in a protective wrap and as you say zip tie securely from the front to the back.

I have to verify if my existing camera that is mounted at the top of the rear cap is adjustable at this time it is only focused on the front of my toad and the tow-bar not a good view of the surrounding area behind the toad- I do like the option to record the Rearview camera in the event there is a issue which is why I am looking at this.

Hopefully someone has done this type of modification before and can share some photos

Thank you

Have you ordered anything and started on this yet? I too have a Wolfbox on my toad and I decided I want one on the motorhome as well. I want to mount mine on the ceiling though, I have a flat ceiling above the dash which would be perfect. I plan to route the cable thru the upper cabinets, down the A pillar then under the driver's seat where I can then get thru the floor to the outside. Then I will route it to the rear where I can fish it up a hollow place between the rear cap and the interior wall which is about 2" wide. Debating how high to mount the camera, there is already a factory camera at the very top dead center that is connected to the dash radio but I want a wider view, and I don't want to have to keep the radio screen on rear camera all the time. It's also safer to have the picture in my line of sight out the windshield rather than having to take my eyes off the road to look at the radio screen. I'll probably end up mounting it just below my factory camera.

Have you seen the 3rd party Wolfbox camera mounts they sell on Etsy?

Generally you can adjust "Up/Down" two screws Loosen adjust, tighten done.
One on each side.

Some body builders however enclose the camera.. so no joy
