Class B RV Flat Repair Kits

First time I have seen that type.

I carry a spare tire where possible, such as with the Class A (tire only, no rim) and a complete wheel for my Y2K. Same with each of my cars and pickup truck.

With the cheapie fast methods, I have had mixed results on motorcycles. The motorcycle I have with me right now has a plug on the rear tire which has been in there for many years. It got a flat within a few hundred miles of a new rear tire. But plugs will only work on round punctures, they do not work on tears. That has happened to me also and then needed a tow truck.

I am told by experts that plugs are damaging to the tire but.....

If it's call a tow truck to tow you to the tire store or plug and go... Plug and go to the tire store.

I go by my own personal experience with plugs. What I find is if they have the slightest leak after being first plugged, a new tire is needed. If it holds well in the first minute after the tire is filled, it will last until it is time for a new tire by normal wear.

Of course, no tire company (i.e. "experts") will recommend a plug for any reason. They will say to call a tow truck and replace the tire ASAP.

The only legal way to patch a tire is from the inside. AFAIK, not even one motorcycle shop in the USA will even do that. But they usually will for larger tires (no motorcycles) at tire shops.
