Recently had a non ducted A/C unit put in bedroom of 5th Wheel. Unit has the controls on the unit itself. On/Off switch and a temp knob. Unit never shuts off while in the cool position, even with the temp knob turned back from the coldest position. Is this the way it?s designed to work or should it eventually cut off when the temp reaches a certain point??

On my rooftop A/C, when I turn on the on/off switch, the blower stays on, whether the compressor comes on or off regardless of where I set the cooling dial level. Nothing to worry about.

It is normal for the non-ducted a/c to run the fan continuously. The idea is to circulate the air so that the interior feels cooler - same concept as a ceiling fan.
