Condiition and Available Campgrounds on 1-10 Through Mississippi and Louisana

Does anyone know the condition of I-10 and whether campgrounds are operational on I-10 through Mississippi and Louisana since the hurricanes?

HI D2. I came through the Interstate 10 from California all the way to Florida, just over 3 weeks ago. There are Campgrounds open. Not in an around New Orleans though unless you wish to Boondock.

We had a conversation with an OTR driver the other day and he says that service facilities are scarce along that part of U-10. ?The campgrounds that are open are most likely filled with people that lost their homes and with disaster relief workers. ?I would avoid it through MS and LA and take I-20 instead.
