A training company provides a pdf file of each online session but not the WMP file. I'd like to capture it also. I know it can be done since I saw one person recently who had done it but I didn't think to ask him at time - how. I have asked some pretty astute computer people since then but no one has tried to do it. So,I'm turning to the more astute folks here to help. Can it be done somhow from WMP or must one use a third party software like an enhanced screen capture program ??

I use Snagit for such things.

Thanks Ron I looked at it just a while ago but wasn't totally sure from description that it would capture the total file i.e voice and video.

Does anyone use Quick Time Pro and know if it can copy WMP downloads?

For any one that might want to capture a WMP or Quick Time presentation here was solution.

Delete all temporary files on IE  (so you don't have to wade through so many to find the new one you want

On IE Watch the FULL tutorial and then close it.

Go to Tools/Interent Options/Settings/View Files

Find the file in the new list - probably the largest one

Right click to Copy file

Choose or setup a new folder in My Documents and paste it there.

Job Done
