Corned beef and cabbage prices this year

I don't care for corn beef or cabbage. So they cost me nothing because I never buy either.

But I need to now go and buy a dozen eggs.

We're planning on buying corned beef in a few days. We had home made beef stew.

I like the cabbage more than the beef but corned beef hash made out of the leftovers is awesome.

Around here Reubens are made with pastrami.

I did my CB&C on Friday. I usually slow cook it with a mirepoix and use a 1 can of Guiness, some beef stock, and about 4 oz of tomato sauce. Cabbage quarters at the end until cooked through. Yummy. I have a commercial slicer that I use to slice the leftovers and get a loaf of Jewish rye, some swiss cheese, and mustard for sandwiches later. I admit I like a touch of regular yellow mustard also.

Mine is onion, mashed potato and the beef. We often have it with HP Sauce.

Corned beef and potatoes is all i use

We cube the boiled potatoes and corned beef (small cubes) and fry it in a skillet. Some cabbage and onion always seems to get mixed in but it enhances the mix. Served with more boiled cabbage of course.

I prefer a liberal amount of ketchup on the hash.
