We spent 11/1 - 11/8 at Cumberland Gap National Park. I went with my wife Jan, friends Ali, Paul and Mary Ann. We really lucked out with the weather, 70's during the day and 50s at night. We hiked along the historic Wilderness Road trail and up to the ridge and Tri-state point. Also, nearby Wilderness Road State Park, VA has a recreation of an original fort. The interpretive movies and displays are very good, and knowledgeable "in time" interpretive actors were there, even on Wednesday morning.
One of our hikes on the wilderness road took us into the quiet, quaint town of Cumberland Gap, we had lunch and drinks at the 19 Bar before hiking back. Great nights for campfires. Ali and I did a 12 mile hike up and along the ridge, and our trip down was on the last trail not cleared from the storm. I called it "blow down" avenue

This was Jan and my 3rd trip in our new Grand Design Trancend One 151RB and towing with our new explorer. Everything worked great.
