I was on freeways and highways most of the day today. Places such as here. Nice ride around Lake Tahoe.-That sounded easy but man there is ALOT of trucks up here.
I was counting pickup trucks not being used as trucks VS trucks being used as a truck (in ways that I can see).
After seeing at least 30 coming the other way. Two of them were being used a truck and one of those was towing an empty carrier of some type, but I assume it was either used as a truck or soon will be. The other had a bed full of junk. I could not tell if any of them were EV. I did not see a single Cybertruck all day, but I saw many Telsa cars.
I did not see even one pickup truck towing today.
Also, several pickup trucks passed me (they are the fastest drivers out here by far). None of those were being used as a truck,
Now that I have checked, I have to say a lot fewer pickup trucks are used as trucks than I previously thought. Two for the entire day out on the road here.
