That would depend on what chassis you have. Most chassis have a fuse-block located somewhere under the hood or on the firewall, if there is a fuse.

Why would there be a fuse on a power steering pump in a 1998 vehicle? Back then, they were all strictly hydraulic and driven by a belt on the engine. Electric-powered steering assist is a rather recent thing.

Not sure if they had it in '98, but my '00 model F53 Bounder has an electric backup pump for the brakes that comes on when you push the brake pedal even if the engine is off.

I'm pretty sure my 98 does not have a brake pump. If it does I've never heard it. But now I've got to check when I pull into the barn tonight.

Yes, but that's part of the brake system, not the power steering pump. The OP may in fact be talking about that, but if so, he's looking in the wrong place.
