I do some work with a local Briggs and Stratton dealer, we have sold a few of this model and have had no problems with them. Time will tell if they stand up as well as the higher priced units. The 6500 is pretty bulky and heavy for most rv'ers though.
 
Be ware this thing is likely louder than most other similar looking inverter generators, they advertise it as 68dB at 1/4 load, compare this to a Honda EU3000 at 10 dB at 1/4 load and 56dB at full load.  Note they do not advertise full load sound level in dB.  If it is published it is hidden, so they seem to want people to compare their 1/4 load loudness with others published full load loudness.  56 to 68 dB may not sound like much of a difference, however the dB scale is logarithmic so that is a very significant difference, to put this in perspective the hum of a residential refrigerator is around 40dB and a typical running vacuum cleaner is around 70 dB.
