After replacing a fuse on the drivers side on the truck air conditioner I found a air duct laying on the drivers side floor.  I've looked behind the instrument panel and can find no place to connect.

Ran the control panel switches
ac and B/L -  air comes out the 4 top ducts, 1 floor duct on the passenger side, and the floor duct laying on the floor
ac and floor - air only comes out the passenger floor duct and the one laying on the floor.

I've decided the driver floor duct must just be open ended (not connected) and I will tie wrap it up out of the way pointed down.

??  Does this make sense?

Sounds like it has come loose. The duct routying is probably a Ford item and you could possibly find the connection point in a diagram. If the Denso unit was installed aftermarket then you may have to contact Fleetwood who could provide a diagram. So far Fleetwood has been good about providing information.

If you have a Class A, the chassis heater and air conditioning are not included as part of the F53 chassis - they're added by the body manufacturer.  You'll want to direct your question to Winnebago, not Ford.

I have a Damon motorhome on the F53 and in my case, the heater and air conditioner was made by Chrysler.  I found this out when I went to replace the fan motor and the Ford unit didn't fit.  I brought the old one with me when I returned the replacement, which looked almost identical to the old motor, but an old hand behind the parts counter said, "That's a Chrysler" and handed me the right motor.

My 2002 Fiesta is the same way.  It's laying on the left edge of the doghouse, just behind the radio.

Thank you for the inputs.  I agree I will just tie wrap the open end up out of the way.  Closed
