because of leaks and maybe it's harder to drive because it's top heavy? I wanted to get one because I thought with the overhead cab (like Airstream B190 or Coachman) you could have more room to move around in and wondered why they stop making them, maybe I thought for style.  Then I read stories on RV forums about leaks, even read a blog of people who restored a Toyota Sunrader and tipping over (so maybe on a small vehicle it's too top heavy) and then maybe people don't like the overhang blocking some of the view (and those that do buy a Class C) !

According to the RVIA classifications, if it has a cabover area big enough for a bed, it is not a Class B.  The so-called B+ models are officially C's becasue they do NOT use a standard van body.  That said, Thor makes B+ models but they are both wider body and cabover. Ditto for the Nexus Viper B+.

Winnebago makes several B models, but the high-top van body doesn't have enough room for a bunk over the cab area.

Models like the Airstream Grand Tour are simply too expensive for what they deliver - folks with $180k to spend expect more space.
