2017 forest river Cherokee 32ft

We just got our camper out of storage and we hooked the power up to the house everything works lights, mircowave, power awning but.. The dometric thermostat will not turn on, . No power there at all, no there is not a battery behind the face plate of the thermostat, we have checked all fuses and nothing is burnt out also have tried switching the master reset and thermostat still will not turn on. Took panel off a/c inside of camper and checked all wires and everything looks good. I am out of ideas on what to try. Any ideas??

I don't know if this will help....I found this in a FR manual. I also attached a copy of the manual.

To Turn Roof A/C On (Main room) Return to Index
Press the On/Off Mode button on the wall Thermostat and keep pressing it until you get the green LED
light to light next to Cooling. See picture:
Using the (+) and (-) buttons set the temperature you want inside the Aviator. Note: by pressing both the
(+) and (-) buttons at the same time you will switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius and back with each press.

It would be helpful to include the ac unit model # and the thermostat model. I believe the a/c power that powers the fan and compressor also powers the control board which generates a friendly low voltage that is used to operate the thermostat. Check up inside the unit to see if you can locate the AC power coming into the condensing unit. Verify power. somewhere there should be the control box. Hopefully we can get a little more info to help you.

Many RV thermostats require 12V from the house supply to operate. There is often a small glass type fuse inside the thermostat too. Makes and models very handy for further help are required.
