Hi fellow RVers. We recently purchased a 2013 Fleetwood Expedition 40x. It has a dinette style table that slides out to make it larger. Is there supposed to be a support bar when the table is all the way out?  It is somewhat sturdy as is but I?m afraid someone will accidentally put more weight on it than it can handle.  If this is how dinettes come, any suggestions or links to build one is appreciated. P.S. I prefer booths ?

Our table is like that. It pulls out and we have a leaf to fill the gap. There is no support.

Probably not. In the Beaver we used to have, the dinette table was that way, and was plenty strong. As Chas says, there was a leaf we could add to have space for the 4 chairs (two were stored in the closet). We never felt the need for additional support.
