I have articles stating that I can dingy tow GMC Canyon behind a jayco greyhawk is this correct or is this to heavy

I'm not familiar with either unit, but you need to know the weight of the Canyon, and the rated towing capacities of your Greyhawk. Looking at the web, the typical class C coaches like your Greyhawk often are rated for a max 5,000 lbs tow (sometimes less), so probably wouldn't be able to handle a full size pickup, which is usually 6,000 or more.

The Canyon has to be a 4WD drive model.  If the Greyhawk is rated to tow 5000 lbs, it could tow a Canyon (or it's Chevy Colorado twin sister). If the Greyhawk is limited to 4000 lbs, then no to towing it.
