Directions to the 2026 Quartzsite rally site

We are in the southwest corner of La Posa Tyson Wash LTVA. It is the southwestern most LTVA, and it adjoins La Posa West on the north side and Roadrunner free area on the south. You get your permit at the visitor contact station at the entrance to the Tyson Wash LTVA. To get to the rally site, continue from the contact center down the main “road.” It will pass the (non-working) dump station on the left. Keep going until the road dead ends into Old Yuma Road. Turn left on Old Yuma Road until you see the (non-working) water tank on your right. Take the first left past the water tank, BLM 561. There should be a sign with “RV Forum.” Continue up 561 for 1/2 mile, passing the vault toilet on your right. You will see our red/gold/cream motorhome, but keep going. There will be another sign with just a red/gold arrow showing you to turn right. There is a large Montana fifth wheel parked there. Continue across the first little wash until you see the next arrow sign. Head in about 0.1 mile and find your spot. The firepit is currently opposite Dan’s rig because it was very flat and has smaller rocks. If anyone is concerned about getting lost, contact me via message here in advance for my phone number. Note there are other paths across the wash, but they are all much bumpier, so I highly recommend taking an RV the way I indicate. GPS coordinates 33.62562N, 114.22873W
