Oconee County South Carolina. along with Clemson next door. Have the Clemson Area Transit (They also serve the county to the south) and with a transfer I think one more.. CAT buses do not have a fare box... You ride free! (They found it saves the county money) They have some fast charge Buses. one of the chargers is at the the hospital in Seneca. Not sure where the other one(s) are. Only seen the one. IT is impressive. The bus pulls in and since it's a "one type only" it auto connects and charges.. Driver gets a cup of coffee and back on the road.. Where he finishes the coffee. This was back in oh. 2020 or a bit before (last time I was there) Was friends with one of the Drivers.(A fellow Full Time RVer)

It's weird how the perception of mass transit differs by region. We have a rail system here ( Dallas Area Rapid Transit) which figuritively speaking they can't pay people to ride. About 10 years ago there were several incidents of passengers being harrassed and assaulted by inner city thugs and that stigma pretty much makes the system radioactive especially for North Dallas area commuters. Cities around here are moving to defund their contributions to the metro rail system.

It is not uncommon for EV charge stations to charge two at once. Both with AC & DV charge stations. And then with some of these, you need to wait twice as long because they can only supply half the power to each.

True even with the older Tesla charge stations yet they have two for two vehicles.

IOW, they are labeled 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, yet all six are separate.

IOW, if you see a car using "1A" do not use "1B" unless all the others are busy. And the guy on 1A will not want you to use "2A" because soon as you plug in to 2A, the wait at 1A will also be twice as long.
