For a few bucks it could be a life saver.

If its not in the car where you can grab it within a few seconds, its of no value.I have one somewhere in the car. Or maybe it’s in the house. Just saw it the other day.
It wouldn’t matter if the thing was right in front of my face I couldn’t grab it within a few seconds. My few second grabbing days are over.If its not in the car where you can grab it within a few seconds, its of no value.

And if it will not release from being damaged or whatever?I feel if I could reach for the cutter, I could push the seat belt release button.
Good spot. in a Rollover it's Who knows where cause it fell out of the pocket. In the drivers door storage pocket along with the IR gun for measuring tire temps.

100% of the reason I carry it, to extract someone else from a vehicle.this is the type of tool that is NOT for us, it's for us to save others.
You've GOT to be kidding. Is this actually an affiliate link from OP or from someplace OP that may have prompted OP's question?
You want to study up on Amazon URLs and affiliate linking! This is simply the results of a search and returned dozens of these things. Doesn't that give you a clue???Usually you can tell simply by the length of the URL vs a direct query on Amazon.com as affiliates have lots of extra length...
Just curious.
Exactly. We bought a couple a few months ago after watching a news story showing how to use them. Also, the recent thread here re. getting a kid out of locked Tesla reminded me again how having something simple like this could be a life saver. Seemed like a timely reminder for those unfamiliar with this kind of toolMeanwhile, this is the type of tool that is NOT for us, it's for us to save others. Same as a fire extinguisher in a MH, your job is to get out if there is a fire inside as you do not have time to grab an extinguisher...
No, I'm not kidding. It seems every day we are all bombarded with reports of scams and come-ons. Even last Friday our bank stopped ten attempted charges from a vendor we don't know and never visited (thank you very much for protecting us, Chase). Our replacement card will arrive tomorrow. You've GOT to be kidding.

I never know what to buy five grandkids and two sets of their parents for Christmas. About three years ago when my first grandchild was getting his driver's license, I bought each of my sons and their wives and the oldest kid a safety set for their cars. It consisted of one of those seat belt cutters, a little hammer for breaking window glass, yellow safety vests, triangles, and electric flares, and it all came in a small canvas bag. Don't know if they still have them yet, but this reminds me there are three more drivers in the family. Also, I supposed the oldest grandson could also use something like that for flying now that he has his license at age 19. He is looking at universities with aeronautics programs for next year, after he completed community college. I'll have to research airplane safety equipment.
