I needed shock absorbers for my truck and looked around online. I found the best price at WWW.SHOCKWAREHOUSE.COM.  I got free shipping and a $50.00 rebate. The next closest was from RockAuto but still not as good of a deal as ShockWarehouse.
No, I'm not in any way benefitting from this Email.

best price does not equal best deal.
for a  shock (or most everything else).
drop the coin and buy a brand name quality shock and it should last decades.

and support the stick and brick shops as much as you can. or they will go away and only wall mart and amazon will survive.

and yes if you drive the roads you need good working shocks.

When they compete (price-wise) and have stock; I am more than happy to support the local shops.  Money in my pocket is better off than in theirs.  The local parts houses don't give a hoot about the private DIY'r.  They sell to repair shops and the cost gets passed to the consumer.  That's good for them and it is their "bread 'n butter".

Shocks?  get good ones.  Shockwarehouse is an excellent source.

The one's I'm getting are by Rancho. Lots of good reviews.
And besides, all the stores around here are chain stores like Napa, VIP, O'Reilly, WalMart and more
