Does this type of camera/monitor combo exist?

Trying to find a camera/monitor system for a friend who wants to have a live view from their home looking up to the entrance of their driveway.

Tons of security camera systems out there so I thought it would be an easy find but haven't been able to find one that does what they want. Basically a simple setup something like the backup camera we have in our motorhome with a small "always on" monitor in their office powered by AC and an external camera mounted outside that could also run on AC. Solar power camera might also be an option.

No SIM card, required APP, pan/tilt, night vision, system with a 20 page installation guide.

Why not a Blink camera from Amazon connected by Wifi to an iPad/Android tablet always plugged into a charger. I have my cameras connected by 30 foot hidden wires to outside 120v electrical outlets.

You say no app but who wouldn't want to be notified there is someone prowling around outside? They supposedly can tell a human from a deer but I haven't been able to talk a deer into testing that.

They have night vision, a 140 degree view so pan and tilt are kind of built in and the app also allows you to zoom in.

Off the shelf systems are pretty easy to find but most require some sort of software (app) to run. If your friend wants a true hardwired CCTV system with a dedicated monitor then maybe contacting a security company would be appropriate. But, that's gonna' cost much more that a system off Amazon.

Because they specifically wanted a camera system that does not require WiFi (unless built in) with a dedicated monitor.

Not concerned about prowlers.

Ah! They do have lots of deer around but doubt any of these could be persuaded to do some tests either.

Features that I suppose would be useful were it for security per se, but not in this case.

I'll pass this along to them, thanks. It does have features that would be of no particular interest such as Audio, digital zoom, SD card recording, night vision... but of course doesn't mean they would have to use them.

Now thinking that even a basic RV backup camera similar to the one bought on Amazon would work fine assuming there would be a way to connect to AC power.
