Hello I am trying to figure out why my waste ball is opening before the water can start to fill toilet bowl. I replaced the water valve because I broke it and it hasn’t been the same. Any answers to what would cause this?

Could be the ball is not closing all the way, Try using silicone spray on the ball and seal. Operate a few times to see if that cures problem. This may or may not cure your problem

So with what you’re saying, you can’t add water to the bowl after you flush.

Before even flushing I can’t add water because waste valve is opening slightly before the water can even try to fill up
